Don Hickman
Founded Hickman Metal Roofing in 1998. Don has lived in Gainesville with his wife Becky and 2 children for 31 years. After a career in industrial construction, Don acquired a State of Florida Certified Roofing Contractors license in 1999 and has successfully passed the General Contractors licensing. Don is an active member of many community organizations and has donated generously to local schools and youth programs. Past president of the North Florida Roofing Contractors Association. "My father was a great influence and inspiration in my life and I work hard to pass on those quality's to everyone around me." Recreational passions include saltwater fishing, golf and American History. |

Becky Hickman
Co-owner of Hickman Metal Roofing/Office Manager. An underwriter for Nationwide insurance for 21 years before retiring and becoming full time at Hickman Metal Roofing, Becky has an acute understanding of superior customer service and has worked diligently to instill customer service as our #1 priority. Becky's responsibilities include job scheduling, insurance, licensing compliance and permitting. Daughter Cheryl (UF Masters in Education) is a 6th grade science teacher is Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Son Derek (UF Building Construction) is currently interning with PPI construction in Gainesville. Hobbies include travel, reading, working out and playing with our 3 Labrador retrievers, Timber, Hank and Faith. |

Randy, wife Pam and 2 sons call Gainesville home. Many years in the building industry have given Randy a unique understanding of home owners needs. Randy has devoted much time and energy to learning the benefits of metal roofing and prepares detailed proposals in easy to understand language. Randy goes' the extra mile to explain each step of the process to you. Randy frequently spends time on the jobsite with the crews to further his knowledge base. Hobbies include music, travel, shooting sports and Florida State Football. |

Richard Appleby
Project Manager
Richard is a Miami native and is the first employee of Hickman Metal Roofing starting in 1999. Richard, wife Cindy and their 9 children have called the northern Ocala area home for more than 25 years. Richard has been in home construction his entire adult life and brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to work with him each day. He has successfully installed more than 450 metal roofs and will patiently explain the process to you in detail. Richard's skills include carpentry, windows, sun rooms and siding applications. Richard is the company safety officer and oversees all of our crews. Richards's passion is race cars and currently races cars at Ocala, Lake City and Palatka tracks with his son Jonathon. |
